Happy 2nd day of 2021! Hope you had a wonderful start to the new year. What better way to kick off the new year than with a classic all-time favorite - pizza?

It goes without saying that pizza is a food staple that will never go out of trend. With infinite topping ideas, it’s guaranteed to rule the culinary world now and forever. Using beautiful toppings that complement each other is the key to creating delicious pizza.

How To Make Shakshuka Pizza

You can’t go wrong with a pizza recipe that’s healthy, delicious and super easy to make. Moreover, it’s another delicious way to make a beautiful breakfast dish. So good as a breakfast pizza, and just the perfect recipe for your pizza night!

The Middle Eastern breakfast dish, shakshuka, is all about eggs cooked in a delicious tomato based sauce. In this shakshuka pizza recipe, we’ll be using this sauce instead of pizza sauce to add that extra special touch.

To make this pizza, start with the pizza base. I really love the homemade version of pizza base but feel free to use the store bought bases when you’re short on time.

Shakshuka sauce is a basic mixture made with tomatoes, garlic and onions. Cook this mixture until the tomatoes are mushy and it resembles pizza sauce.

The pizza base is cooked separately for about 10 minutes before you add the toppings. Top the base with shakshuka sauce and eggs, and then cook for another 10 minutes. When the egg whites are set, you can remove the pizza from oven, and top it with crumbled feta and lots of parsley.

Addictingly delicious shakshuka pizza for your weekend brunch!
