 The name says it all. It’s pasta in broccoli and cream sauce. As for the type of pasta, you can choose your favorite one. I’ve gone for ‘penne’. Here goes the recipe for creamy broccoli pasta:

This creamy broccoli pasta is extremely delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pasta
  • 1 cup broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley leaves
  • 1 chicken or vegetarian stock cube crushed
  • ¾ cup fresh cream
  • Freshly grated black pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Grated cheese of your choice to decorate

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to the packet directions, drain, and keep aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté garlic. Add broccoli florets and cook, covered, over a low flame.
  • When it’s done, add cooked pasta, and mix well. Now add the fresh cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Then sprinkle dried parsley leaves, crushed stock cube, and generous amount of black pepper on your pasta. Again, mix well.
  • Transfer broccoli pasta to a serving plate, and decorate with grated cheese.
