How To Make Tuna Noodles
Start with prepping the leek. Make sure you cut off the root end and discard the green leaves. The white part alongside the light green stem are soft and edible. I like to cut the leek into thin round circles. And you’ll need approximately 2 cups in this recipe.
With the noodles, you can use your favorite. I opted for thick hokkien noodles that complement with leek and tuna.
Making this tuna noodles is super quick and straightforward. You’ll need to make these noodles in a wok over high heat. This will ensure maximum flavor. Also, make sure you have all the ingredients ready as the cooking process is really quick.
Stir fry garlic over high heat. Once aromatic, fry sliced leek until soft. Add tuna. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Now, you’ll need to add the cooked noodles. Just follow the instructions on the package to cook the noodles. Add soy sauce, chili sauce, ground white pepper and red chili flakes. Stir fry for about 2 minutes.
And finally, add hokkien noodles. Stir fry.
