How To Make Shawarma Spice Mix
First, the key ingredients of this spice mix – ground cumin, ground all spice and ground coriander. Even though all spice contains a melange of different spices, you will need to add more spices to make the perfect mix.
Paprika adds the color to the mix and the subtle heat of black pepper is simply amazing. Garlic powder is added instead of fresh garlic and ground ginger is just dried ginger ground to a fine powder. Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 tablespoon ground all spice
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground green cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
