Grape Agua Fresca

2 Comments Published July 2, 2015 Updated February 5, 2025

GRAPE agua fresca - mexican drink |nish kitchen

Agua frescas, the ever popular Mexican drinks are one of the easy to make summer coolers on the planet. Mix together your favorite fruit – watermelon, pineapple, berries, mangoes, or even grapes – fresh lime juice and a sweetener. And you’ve made the quickest thirst quencher.

So what am I doing with a summer drink in the middle of winter? Yes, we’re in the middle of winter in Australia. The truth is I made this grape aqua fresco on one of those autumn days when it was very sunny outside. Although I don’t dream about a refreshing drink in the middle of winter, I know it’ll be very useful for many of my friends in the other part of the world who are enjoying warm, sunny days.

If you love this Mexican masterpiece, you should definitely try this version using grapes. It definitely ranks up there with my all-time favorite summer drinks.
