tandoori momos recipe videoI like to think of food as a way to celebrate happiness and connect with other people. Whether it’s a family feast or huge gathering, food always brings in sheer joy and smiles.

I also love to present food like a beautiful picture with the right tone of colors and flavors. It’s the best way to celebrate the beauty of your masterpiece.

So, today, I want to introduce you to a classic dish with an interesting twist – tandoori momos.

The filling of classic momos can be made with vegetables, paneer or chicken. In this recipe, I have transformed chicken momos to the vibrant momos. Think of your favorite momos coated in tandoori paste grilled to perfection. To be exact, this is all about taking momos to the next level bringing an irresistible flavor explosion.

The very first step of making these tandoori momos – cook momos with your favorite filling. As I mentioned, chicken, veg or paneer momos work wonders in this recipe.

Step two – make the tandoori paste. I used my all-time favorite tandoori paste recipe to create these delicious momos. I use it to marinate all kinds of protein and veggies. To be exact, it’s my go to recipe for making super delicious tandoori flavored dish.

Step three – Toss momos in tandoori paste. Steamed momos straight out of the steamer works best as they will absorb all the flavors making them even more delicious. It’s my secret to flavorful momos.

Step four – Grill. The idea is to get a light chargrilled effect on the momos both in terms of flavor and color.

And there you go. Easy to make, crazy good, vibrant momos to serve with mint chutney and a simple salad. I totally love the onion and carrot salad sprinkled with a generous amount of chaat masala. So good!

The roasted momos look essentially yummy. A large portion of the fixings is as of now accessible in many homes. So no compelling reason to proceed to purchase uncommon fixings. Will have a go at making them at home this week.
