Why I Love This Easy Prep Everyday Dressing

In fact, the creamy texture, tangy flavor, and herb loaded finish of classic ranch dressing makes it a favorite to whip up everything from salads to dips. However, if you are after a lighter option without sacrificing the flavor, this dressing deserves a permanent spot on your healthy menu. Made with protein rich Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise, this wholesome version delivers the same taste minus the calories. Better yet, it comes together in just minutes using pantry staples.

Why Greek yogurt makes the perfect substitute? It’s naturally thick creating a rich, velvety dressing without the addition of calorie-dense ingredients. The fresh tang complements the classic ranch pairing of parsley, dill, and chives. Even though dried herbs certainly work in this recipe, fresh herbs make all the difference by bringing an unmistakably bright flavor.

The perfect yogurt ranch is more than just a salad dressing. It’s so versatile that you can use it as a dip, spread, topping, or as a finishing sauce for tacos. Plus, it’s easy to make. Mix up a batch on Sunday, store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container, and enjoy it throughout the week. Give it a quick stir before serving.

Key Ingredients In Greek Yogurt Ranch Salad Dressing

How To Make Greek Yogurt Ranch Salad Dressing

Gather all ingredients - Start with a cup of Greek yogurt in a bowl. Greek yogurt gives you the thick texture, however, plain yogurt works too. Now add in all the flavors. Parsley, chives, dill, onion powder, garlic powder, and lemon juice.

Mix and serve - Give everything a quick stir. Pop it in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving to allow all the herbs and seasonings to blend together. You can also tweak the recipe to suit your taste by adding more herbs or garlic. Easy and tasty!
