Last week, I was literally running around ticking off all the boxes in my to-do list, and developing new recipes, photographing and shooting videos all at the same time. Well, I'm the kind of person who likes to keep busy, so I just couldn't wait to share this amazing recipe with you.

Alright, to the recipe. This Indian style easy fish tacos recipe has been on my mind for a while now. I think the perfect way to bring an Indian twist to the Mexican fish tacos is with my favorite Amritsari fish recipe. Melt-in-your-mouth fish encased in a crunchy coating really makes this super awesome. If you love Amritsari fish, this taco recipe idea is a must try. And if you haven't tried this amazingly crispy Indian style battered fried fish yet, you must check out the recipe right here.

As much as I like Amritsari fish, I'm also deeply in love with the bright and colorful red cabbage you see in the pictures. Basically, it's the healthy version of red cabbage slaw. A simple combo of shredded red cabbage, coriander (cilantro) leaves, lime juice and oil. To be honest, this is one of the simplest yet delicious salad I've ever made. I just couldn't stop munching on them. Trust me, it's ridiculously tasty. The best part is that you can make this a day ahead, and refrigerate until ready to use.

As you can see, I have also made a simple veggie combo of avocados and cherry tomatoes to add another layer of flavor to these easy fish tacos. My two most favorite healthy salad veggies. I simply chopped them up into small pieces, and seasoned with salt and pepper. Done!

Finally, a drizzle of mint chutney to add a fourth layer of deliciousness. As my mint garden is overflowing, this chutney is a regular in my household. Slightly sweet and so full of goodness, this is the perfect accompaniment for any Indian food.

In short, these Indian style easy fish tacos are all about so many different layers of flavors and textures packed into one simple meal. And totally delicious as a simple family meal, or just perfect for a fancy dinner party.
