All you need to do is make the dumplings following the packet directions, and toss them with a quick veggie stir fry flavored with honey soy sauce to complete the meal.
These dumplings are available in a variety of flavors including Thai Chicken, Vegetable, Korean Beef and Schewan Pork. Find them in the freezer aisle of your nearest supermarket.
How To Make Dumpling Stir Fry
First, prepare the dumplings. You can use store-bought dumplings or make your own. Again, cook them anyway you like - pan fry, steam, deep fry or boil. I opted for the pan frying method just because I really love the contrast of crispy outer layer and soft filling. To pan fry the dumplings, all you need to do is fry them in a little oil, add water and cook until the water dries. Easy!
The next step is making the vegetable stir fry. Sauté your favorite veggies in a little oil and toss them in honey soy flavored sauce. Add the cooked dumplings to this stir fry and toss again. And there you go. Beautifully delicious dumpling stir fry.
I also love a generous sprinkle of sesame seeds and spring onions. Perfect! Your weeknight dinner is ready in a flash!
