Big Mac tacos. The delicious layers of Big Mac burger – delicious meat, pickles, lettuce and creamy burger sauce – all in a taco. Sounds epic, right? The best part is that it’s super easy to make with ingredients from your local grocery store. You can even make the burger sauce from scratch that tastes as delicious as the sauce from the fast food chain.
Big Mac Tacos Recipe
Start with prepping the minced meat. I like to season it with paprika and Italian seasoning alongside salt and pepper. Mix well and roll out small balls. Press these mince balls onto on side of the tortillas. Make sure you spread it as thin as possible to ensure even cooking.
Next, cook the tortillas. Place the tortilla, meat side down, in a preheated pan. As it cooks, the tortillas may tend to curl up. To prevent this, place a flat bottomed saucepan over the tortilla. When browned, place one or two cheese slices on top and let them melt.
At this stage, you can top them with pickles, lettuce and burger sauce. The sauce is a simple combination of mayonnaise, tomato sauce, pickle relish, dijon mustard and hot sauce. It’s as delicious as the original Big Mac sauce.
