How To Make Puff Pastry Christmas Tree Pizza
Start with the pizza sauce. Homemade or store bought sauce works amazing in this recipe. To level up the flavor in this puff pastry appetizer, I made a quick homemade version of the pizza sauce with tomato passata, fresh minced garlic and Italian seasoning. So good!
In this recipe, I’m going to create the Christmas tree using puff pastry. All you need to do is spread a thawed puff pastry sheet with pizza sauce, sprinkle with some chopped bell peppers (capsicum) and mozzarella, top with another pastry sheet, cut out the tree, and bake.
Once you cut out the tree shape, twist the pastry branches so they’ll look really pretty when they come out of the oven. You can also add a little star on top to add the final touch to the festive look.
Now, here are some variations of this Christmas tree pizza for you to try. Spread the pastry sheets with pesto for a delicious savory idea. Nutella or your favorite chocolate spread makes for a heavenly sweet treat.
An incredibly delicious way to celebrate the festive season!
