Perfectly crispy and delicious naan crisps or chips to serve as an appetizer alongside your cheese platter

Ingredients

Oil-herb mixture:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or minced fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Naan crisps:

  • 3 naans homemade or store bought
  • Green chutney or your favorite dip to serve

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200 C / 400 F. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Set aside.
  • To make oil-herb mixture, combine together oil, garlic powder and oregano in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Brush naans with oil-herb mixture.
  • Cut into triangles.
  • Transfer to the baking sheet.
  • Arrange in a single layer.
  • Bake for about 5-10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • Leave to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Serve with green chutney or your favorite dip.

  • Cooking times may vary depending on thickness of naan
  • These are perfect to add to cheese platters or as a snack
  • You can substitute naan with pita or any flatbread
