Fry chicken:

plain flour

lemon pepper seasoning

large chicken breasts
halved lengthwise horizontally

oil
Lemon butter garlic sauce:

butter
▢

garlic cloves
chopped

cup
chicken broth
stock
▢
Juice of 1 lemon
▢
Salt to taste
Garnish:

Chopped parsley
▢
Freshly ground black pepper

Lemon wedges
To serve:

Buttered pasta
sautéed green beans or mashed potatoes
Instructions
Fry chicken:
Combine together flour and lemon pepper seasoning in a large bowl. Season with salt. Coat chicken in the flour mixture. Shake off excess. Set aside.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan or skillet over medium heat.
Add chicken. Cook, 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove from pan. Set aside.
Lemon butter garlic sauce:
Add butter.
When hot, add garlic. Sauté, stirring, for about 1 minute or until fragrant.
Add chicken broth (stock) and lemon juice. Stir to combine. Simmer for about 3-4 minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly.
Check seasoning and add salt if needed.
Lemon pepper chicken:
Add chicken back to the pan. Heat through.
Garnish with chopped parsley, ground pepper and lemon wedges.
Serve with buttered pasta, sautéed green beans or mashed potatoes.
