Using a sharp knife, slice the avocado, starting at the stem.
Once the knife hit the pit, slice all the way around the pit.
Using your hands. Separate it into two halves by twisting it to both sides.
Take the avocado slice with the pit in it, and gently press down on the outer surface of the avocado to push the pit out(Just like you remove yolk from a hard boiled egg).
Discard the pit.
Gently peel the skin to slice or chop the avocado flesh, or scoop out the flesh with a spoon to mash avocado.
