Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda into a large bowl.
Add vanilla extract and melted butter. Add milk. Whisk until just combined.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Brush pan with butter.
Pour ¼ cup pancake batter on to the pan. Cook 2-3 minutes or until bubbles start to appear on surface. Turn and cook for 3 minutes or until cooked through.
Transfer to a plate.Repeat with remaining pancake batter, brushing pan with butter between batches.
