Creamy Mango Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup diced mangoes, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Place mangoes in a food processor. Add lemon juice.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Add dijon mustard and mayonnaise.
  • Blend until just combined.
  • Season with salt.
  • Transfer to a bowl.
  • Chill for about 15 minutes.
  • Transfer to an airtight container, and store in the refrigerator for about 5 days.

Notes

Spicy sauce - Add some red chili flakes or chili paste.
Make it vegan -  Substitute mayonnaise with coconut cream.
How to serve:
  • Aș a spread with chicken or turkey sandwiches
  • As a dip with grilled prawns, chicken tenders, of fries.
  • As a marinade with chicken or pork.
  • As a dressing for your favorite salads.
