Classic Tomato Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 100 g butter
  • 8 bread slices
  • ½ cup mayonnaise regular or your favorite flavor
  • 16 tomato slices
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a frying pan. Add bread slices in batches. Toast both sides. Remove from pan. Set aside. 
  • Spread mayonnaise on one side of 4 bread slices.
  • Top with tomato slices (4 on each bread slice). Season with salt and pepper.
  • Top with the remaining bread slices.
  • Serve immediately.
