Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Add onions. Saute, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes or until soft and translucent.
Add garlic. Saute, stirring, for 1 minute or until aromatic.
Add frankie masala. Saute, stirring, for about 1 minute.
Add tomatoes. Saute, stirring, for about 2 minutes.
If using potatoes, add boiled potatoes, mash the potatoes, and toss with the spices. Season with salt.
If using chicken, add chicken, and cook for about 7-10 minutes. Season with salt.
