Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken mince
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 6 round hamburger buns bread rolls, split
  • 1 small cucumber cut into sticks
  • 1 cup thinly sliced lettuce
  • 6 coriander leaves optional
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine together chicken mince, tomato sauce, soy sauce, breadcrumbs, and coriander leaves. Season with salt and pepper. Make 6 round patties out of the mixture. Set aside.
  • Meanwhile, heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Arrange the prepared patties in the pan in a single layer. When one side is cooked, flip over to cook the other side. Drain the cooked patties on an absorbent paper towel.
  • Spread mayonnaise on the bottom layer of the bread rolls. Then top with cooked patties, cucumber, and lettuce. Place a coriander leaf on each patty, and place the upper layer of the bread rolls on top.
  • Serve warm.
