How To Make Naan Crisps
- Use homemade or store bought naans – As I mentioned, fluffy naans are the key ingredient in this recipe. All you need to do is cut them into triangles before baking. Don’t forget to coat them generously with olive oil before you bake. That’s the secret to the crispiness.
- Brush with oil herb mixture – It’s a simple yet flavorful combination of olive oil, garlic, dried oregano, salt and pepper. Just brush the naans with the mixture and then cut into triangles. And finally, bake.

Ingredients
Oil-herb mixture:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or minced fresh garlic)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Naan crisps:
- 3 naans (homemade or store bought)
- Green chutney or your favorite dip, to serve
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200 C / 400 F. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Set aside.
- To make oil-herb mixture, combine together oil, garlic powder and oregano in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Brush naans with oil-herb mixture.
- Cut into triangles.
- Transfer to the baking sheet.
- Arrange in a single layer.
- Bake for about 5-10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Leave to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Serve with green chutney or your favorite dip.
