Christmas Popcorn Ingredients
Popcorn – Homemade or store bought popcorn is obviously the key element in this recipe. Crunchy, fresh popcorn make this treat amazingly delicious. If using homemade version, make sure you cool them down to room temperature before adding the other ingredients
White chocolate – It’s the heavenly touch that make this popcorn treat undeniably heavenly. I highly recommend using a good quality chocolate for superior taste. And yes, you can always try milk or dark chocolate in this recipe. But to keep it Christmassy, let’s go with white chocolate.
Pretzels – A quintessential Christmas treat, of course. Crunchy and divine when coated with white chocolate. Grab a pack of gluten free pretzels to make this Christmas popcorn recipe gluten free.
M & Ms – Red and green Christmas M & Ms, of course. I absolutely adore those colors contrasting the white popcorn. Simply beautiful!
Christmas sprinkles – For more color and crunch. And obviously a very pretty addition!
Christmas Popcorn Recipe
First, make or buy popcorn. I wanted to keep this recipe as simple as possible, so I chose the latter option. If you love pretzels, they are going to be a beautiful crunchy addition to this addictingly delicious popcorn. Make sure you get the mini pretzels.
Next up, melt the white chocolate. Spread the popcorn – pretzel mixture on a baking tray and drizzle with plenty of white chocolate. Toss to coat. At this stage, you can also add the m & ms.
Now all those sprinkles to add that extra Christmas touch. Leave it to set.
The perfect festive snack to watch your favorite Christmas movies!
