How To Make Carrot Patch Cupcakes
The cupcake base is actually my all-time favorite super moist chocolate cupcakes. If you don’t have time, store bought cupcakes (vanilla or chocolate) can be customized to create these amazing cupcakes.
The cupcakes are topped with classic chocolate buttercream, but feel free to replace it with your favorite frosting. In short, both the cupcakes and frosting are totally customizable. The toppings are the unique part of this carrot patch cupcakes recipe.
To make the sand, crush some chocolate Oreo cookies and sprinkle on top of the frosting. And the cutest part? The carrots. Melt some white chocolate, add red and yellow food colors to create the vibrant orange and dip strawberries in it to create cute carrots. Remember to use gel based food color in this recipe. You can also use orange candy melts.
