bread pizza recipe

I think pizza is one of the most customizable food on the planet. The base itself is a blank canvas on which you use your imagination to create amazing flavor combinations.

On one hand, I love to make pizza from scratch - kneading the dough, adding my favorite toppings, and waiting for it to turn crisp and brown in the oven. But, what happens when you are time-poor? Well, I'll start thinking about a super quick way to enjoy pizza. Oh no, I'm not talking about pizza from my nearest fast food chain. Why not keep it simple and homemade for today?

Alright, there are multitude of options for pizza base including flat breads, frozen pizza base etc etc. Do you know which one is my favorite? The simple, humble bread. White or wholegrain. Your choice. Trust me - bread pizza is the best. So good and addicting. I especially love the way the bread slices gets toasted in the oven during the cooking process. Golden and crunchy. Now imagine golden bread slices with melted cheese on top. Heaven!

All you need to make bread pizza are bread slices and your favorite pizza toppings. Personally, I love pizza sauce on my homemade pizza. As this pizza is all about "your favorites", go with a sauce that you really like. Barbecue sauce, tomato ketchup, mint chutney or simple tomato paste are a few options.

Then you can make it vegetarian or non- vegetarian. I was planning to make a simple pizza so opted for the vegetarian version. A good idea is to replace tomatoes with pepperoni for a quick and easy non- vegetarian version. You can also try other delicious toppings such as mushrooms, olives, ham or even cooked chicken and meat. The point is add whatever toppings you have on hand. You'll be amazed to see how delicious this bread pizza really is! Finally, sprinkle with cheese!

All in all, this is a quick and easy snack that you can prepare within 10 minutes. So, what do you think about this ridiculously simple recipe?
