Gochujang Noodles Recipe
Make sauce – The lip smacking fiery sauce is the key highlight of this noodles recipe. Korean chili paste or gochujang, the main ingredient, is combined with regular soy sauce, vinegar or mirin, sugar and water. The combination of spicy, sweet and tangy flavors is what makes this sauce so unique and delicious.
Cook noodles – Start with stir frying garlic and spring onions. Once it’s fragrant, add the sauce and cook for 4 minutes. Wait until you get a beautiful vibrant sauce. Next, add in noodles and toss. I like to serve them with a light drizzle of sesame oil, boiled eggs, steamed bok choy, and a generous sprinkle of sesame seeds.
