Luxurious, creamy pasta paired with cajun shrimp to make your taste buds sing
The creamy lemon sauce of pasta is all about an unique twist to the classic alfredo sauce. A simple combo of butter, cream, lemon, parmesan and basil leaves. For an extra lemon kick, I have added a tablespoon of lemon zest to the sauce. The lemon adds that luxurious touch to the cream sauce making it rich and tasty. Just make sure you stir the cream continuously while adding the lemon juice so it won’t separate.
The prawns are mildly spiced with cajun seasoning. I’ve also added a little paprika for a pop of color. The marinated prawns are threaded onto skewers and grilled on the grill tray. To serve, transfer creamy lemon pasta to a serving plate and top with grilled shrimp (prawns). Garnish with plenty of basil. Dinner sorted.
