dashi
Japanese soup base sauce

soy sauce

mirin or sake
I used mirin

teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Add dashi, soy sauce, mirin or sake and salt to a small saucepan.
Stir to combine.
Place the pot over medium heat.
Allow the mixture to come to a boil.
Simmer for one minute or until the alcohol smell disappears.
Serve hot.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week.

For gluten free alternative of soy sauce, use tamari
If using sake, add a pinch of sugar
