1tablespoongarlic paste
1tablespoonginger paste
½teaspoonground turmeric
2teaspoongaram masala
1tablespoonKashmiri red chilly powder
2big dried red chilliesground to a coarse powder
1teaspoonground fennel
½teaspoonground cumin
1star aniseground to a coarse powder
1teaspoonwhite vinegar
2tablespoonrice flour
2tablespoonoil
1sprig curry leavesfinely chopped
2sprigs coriander leavescrushed
Few drops of red food color
Salt to taste
Instructions
Place all the ingredients except chicken in a deep bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
Using a sharp knife, score the drumsticks on either side. Then coat them in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours or overnight, if you can.
Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius.
Arrange the chicken drumsticks in a baking dish. Place it in the oven. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
Alternatively, you can also fry the chicken pieces.
