lasagna noodles
broken into small pieces

shredded mozzarella

ricotta

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat.
Add onions. Sauté for 2-3 minutes or until soft and translucent.
Add ground meat. Cook, breaking any lumps, until browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
Add tomato paste, garlic powder, diced tomatoes, red pepper (chili) flakes, dried oregano and chopped parsley leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
Sauté, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.Add broken lasagna and 2 cups water. Don’t stir. Cover and cook for about 10-15 minutes.
Turn off heat. Sprinkle with mozzarella. Cover with a lid. Let mozzarella melt.
Place ricotta on top. Keep covered for about 5 minutes.
Garnish with more parsley leaves.
