Serradura | Saw Dust Pudding

Simple yet elegant dessert with layers of Marie biscuits and sweetened whipped cream!

Ingredients

  • 20 Marie biscuits
  • 2 cups heavy (thickened) cream
  • ¼ cup condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Prepare the layers:

  • Place biscuits in a food processor. Process to fine crumbs.
  • Using an electric hand held or stand mixer, beat cream for about 1-2 minutes or until soft peaks form.
  • Add condensed milk and vanilla extract. Beat until just combined.

Assemble pudding:

  • Place cream mixture and crushed biscuits in alternating layers in mini dessert cups.
  • Finish with biscuit layer. Top with small pieces of Marie biscuit.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Make ahead - You can make these a day ahead and store in the refrigerator.
  • Condensed milk - Add more or less to adjust the sweetness.
  • Add more flavors - Pureed strawberries or mangoes, lemon curd, biscoff, nutella.
