Place cream, suger and vanilla in a large bowl. Use a hand held electric mixer or regular whisk to whip it until the cream turn pale, thick and glossy. Set aside.
Place strawberries in a blender, and give a quick whizz to crush them.
To assemble the trifle: You will need 4 short glasses or jars. Add one biscuit to each glass, using your hand to break them into smaller pieces. Next, divide the strawberries among the glasses. Add whipped cream. Place the cornflakes on one side on top of the cream. Place the wafer on the other side, one in each glass.
