Ingredients

  • 2 puff pastry sheets thawed
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ cup chopped bell peppers capsicum
  • ½ cup chopped pepperoni
  • ½ cup grated mozzarella
  • 1 egg lightly whisked
  • Pizza sauce or marinara sauce for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 220 C or 420 F. Line a baking tray with
    parchment (baking) paper.
  • Place one thawed puff pastry sheet on a flat work surface.
  • Spread pizza sauce, and top with dried oregano, bell peppers (capsicum), pepperoni and mozzarella.
  • Place the other sheet of puff pastry on top.
  • Cut the sheet in the middle dividing the sheets into two equal rectangles.
  • Cut each rectangle into small 1 and ½ inches strips. Take each strip and twist.
  • Transfer the pizza twists on to the baking tray. Brush with egg.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden and puffed up.
  • Serve with pizza sauce or marinara sauce.
