Ingredients

  • 4 puff pastry sheets thawed (I used ready-rolled sheets)
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons flaked almonds optional

Other toppings:

  • Chopped nuts or dried fruits
  • Cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, caramel sauce, melted chocolate to decorate after baking

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 220 C or 420 F. Line a large baking sheet with baking paper. Set aside.
  • Place thawed puff pastry sheets on a flat surface
  • Cut each sheet into 9 rectangles
  • Place one rectangle on a flat surface. Brush with melted butter. Top with another pastry sheet and brush with melted butter. Top with another puff pastry sheet. Repeat with the remaining sheets.
  • Sprinkle with almonds if you like.
  • Arrange biscuits in a single layer on the baking tray. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden.
  • Remove from oven. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar if you like.
