Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl, knead well and make dough. Cover the dough with a lid, and leave it in a warm place to rise for 20 minutes to 2 hours.
Knead the dough again. Make small balls out of it. Roll out the balls into tear drop shaped flat breads.
Now preheat the grill, and place a pizza stone under it.
When the stone is hot enough, lower the temperature, and place the flat bread on the stone. Cook.
Alternatively, you can also cook them on the stove top.
Notes
Glazing - Brush the flat breads with melted butter just before serving. Garlic naan - Combine melted butter and garlic, and brush the flat breads with it.
