Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk powder
  • 400 g condensed milk
  • ½ teaspoon ground cardamom cardamom powder
  • 3 tablespoons ghee
  • 250 g milk or dark cooking chocolate
  • Dried rose petals crushed, to decorate (optional)
  • Almonds or pistachios to decorate (optional)

Instructions

  • Place a large frying pan or skillet over low heat.
  • Add milk powder and condensed milk. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until it reaches a semisolid consistency.
  • Add ground cardamom and ghee. Cook, stirring, for
    another 3 minutes or until the mixture becomes really thick and leaves the sides of the pan. Remove from heat.
  • Leave to cool completely. Divide the mixture into 21 portions and roll out small balls.
  • Meanwhile, melt chocolate following the package directions. You can melt chocolate in a microwave or with the double boiler method.
  • Coat the balls with melted chocolate.
  • Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Decorate with crushed dried rose petals or nuts. Refrigerate until set.
