Combine together cream, yogurt, minced ginger, minced garlic, oil, garam masala, ground black pepper, kasuri methi and lemon juice. Season with salt. Add paneer cubes. Mix until paneer cubes are evenly coated. Marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes if time permits.
Thread paneer cubes and onions onto the bamboo skewers. Leave a 1 inch gap on top of the skewers. Grill the skewers for 7-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
