1 and ½cupsplain flourwholemeal or regular (I used wholemeal)
½cupgranulated sugarcaster sugar
2teaspoonbaking powder
Pinchof salt
60gmelted and cooled butter
1large egg
350mlmilk
Instructions
Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a large bowl. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add butter, eggs and milk. Mix until the ingredients are well combined. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
When batter is ready, heat a tawa or crepe pan or frying pan over medium heat. Melt a little butter. Pour in a ladleful of pancake batter. When one side is lightly browned, flip it over to cook the other side. When golden, transfer to a plate. Repeat the process until all the batter is used up.
Serve pancakes with extra butter, berries, maple syrup, chocolate sauce, or even better, nutella.
