Easy Ham And Cabbage Stir Fry

Simple and easy stir fry made with leftover ham and cabbage!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 cups chopped ham, (I used leftover roast ham)
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Shaoxing wine or Chinese rice wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped spring onions or scallions, to garnish

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large wok over high heat.
  • Add garlic. Stir fry for 1 minute or until aromatic.
  • Add ham. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add cabbage. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes or until cabbage is tender yet crisp.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add soy sauce and rice wine vinegar. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions (scallions).

  • Ham - Replace with bacon if you like.
  • Vegetables - Add more veggies to make it more nutritious.
  • How to serve - Serve this stir fry on its own or with noodles, rice or dumplings.
