Place a large pot of water over high heat. Bring to a boil.
Add macaroni. Cook, for about 9-10 minutes or until al dente. Drain. Set aside.
Place a large frying pan over low heat.
Add sugar.
When sugar caramelizes and turns golden (this will take about 4-5 minutes), pour in milk, stirring constantly. Continue stirring for about 2-3 minutes or until caramel dissolves.
Stir in condensed milk and ground cardamom.
Increase heat to medium.
Simmer for about 2 minutes.
Stir in ghee and roasted nuts.
Garnish with more roasted nuts if you like.
