ripe avocado
halved and pitted

sprig of basil leaves
approximately 2 tablespoons chopped basil
▢

garlic
peeled
▢
Juice of half a lemon
▢

jalapeño
chopped
Instructions
Scoop out the flesh of avocado and place in a food processor.
Add basil leaves, garlic, lemon juice and jalapeño.
Process to a smooth paste.
Add 1-2 teaspoons water if required. Season with salt.
Serve this with burgers, breakfast toast or drizzle over your favorite salad.
Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
