Avocado Aioli | Video

Healthier version of aioli made with avocados and garlic. Use as a sandwich spread, dip or salad dressing!

Servings 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado halved and pitted
  • 1 sprig of basil leaves approximately 2 tablespoons chopped basil
  • 1 garlic peeled
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 jalapeño chopped

Instructions

  • Scoop out the flesh of avocado and place in a food processor.
  • Add basil leaves, garlic, lemon juice and jalapeño.
  • Process to a smooth paste.
  • Add 1-2 teaspoons water if required. Season with salt. 
  • Serve this with burgers, breakfast toast or drizzle over your favorite salad.
  • Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

  • You can add Greek yogurt to this aioli if you like for a creamier version
