  • 5 green cooking apples peeled and chopped
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour corn starch

Apple momos:

  • 100 g butter
  • 1 can 400g sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 ½ cups brown sugar
  • ¼ cup glucose syrup
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Apple filling:Heat butter in a medium frying pan over medium-high heat. Add apples. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 2 minutes. Add brown sugar, ground cinnamon and cornflour. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes or until tender and the mixture is dry. Remove from heat. Cool completely.
