20 Minute One Pan Easy Ground Beef Curry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 500 g ground minced beef
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 green chili, chopped (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves
  • Coriander leaves (cilantro), to garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground beef. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook, breaking up with a wooden spoon, for about 10 minutes or until browned evenly.
  • Add onions, ginger, garlic and green chilies (if using). Saute, stirring, for 1 minute or until aromatic.
  • Add ground turmeric, ground coriander and red chili powder. Saute, stirring, for about 30 seconds or until fragrant.
  • Add tomato paste. Saute, stirring, for 1 minute.
  • Stir in coconut milk and water. Season with salt.
  • Simmer for about 4 minutes or until ground beef is cooked through.
  • Add garam masala and dried fenugreek leaves. Stir. Heat through.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves (cilantro).

  • Aș a filling for wraps.
Vegetables - Add potatoes and green peas to the curry if you like.
