Mint or Pudina Chutney – Wondering how to make the authentic green mint chutney you order at Indian restaurants? Then get excited about this recipe that’s going to add a wow-factor to your kebabs, samosas, pakoras and grilled tikka. The perfect blend of mint, coriander (cilantro), yogurt and lemon juice is so creamy and tasty, you’ll make it again and again.
In my opinion, chutneys are an indispensable part of any Indian meal. Indian chutneys made with herbs, mangoes, coconut are probably the best way to enjoy any spicy appetizers. In fact, it’s the easiest way to make your meal totally awesome. Apart from adding a refreshing touch to your food, you can easily customize them to suit your taste.
Since this pudina chutney is my favorite, I always wanted to share it with you. You might find so many variations of this chutney, but this is my absolute favorite. To make this chutney, I took one of my favorite recipes and added a few tweaks to come up with a fabulous chutney with a restaurant style makeover. It’s a bit tangy, a bit sweet and all the more perfect.
This mint or pudina chutney is just like the traditional version, but I have made it much creamier. And that’s not all. The perfect combination of tangy, sweet and minty flavors will certainly amaze you.
Not to mention, this chutney is super healthy for you, minus the sugar. Mint, coriander, yogurt – a healthy yet delicious dip. To be honest, I’m totally addicted to this chutney that I always make this dip to go with grilled chicken and pakoras.
Again, like other chutneys and dips, this is incredibly easy to prepare. Just pop all the ingredients into a food processor and a quick whizz. Done! So easy!
If you have never ever been a huge fan of mint, let me tell you, this recipe is going to blow your mind. And this will become one of your favorite chutneys.
Simple ingredients turned into an epic dip! You need to try this!
