Asian sticky ribs. Just a simple marinade is all you need to level up the recipe. The contrasting sweet and savory flavors complements beef really well making it an absolutely delicious dish. Reserve some marinade to make the lip smacking sauce. While the ribs are in the oven, whip up quick and easy accompaniments to save time.
Asian Sticky Ribs Recipe
Marinade – Basically, it’s a delectable combo of sweet and savory flavors. The base is the classic ketchup alongside soy sauce and rice wine vinegar. The sweet addition comes from honey and brown sugar. They also make the ribs sticky and give that “glazed” look. Reserve about 1/4 cup marinade to make the dipping sauce.
Prep the ribs – Brush the ribs generously with the marinade. Then, bake for about an hour depending on the size of the ribs. When done, they will get a beautiful glaze on the ribs. Absolutely lip-smacking!
The sauce – The reserved marinade is combined with beef stock to create the sauce. This mixture is simmered over medium heat for about 5 minutes. You’ll get a thick sauce to dip your ribs in. And trust me, the flavors are out of this world.
