Christmas is here!! Excited? Listening to non-stop Christmas songs? Or still wrapping up presents? No matter how busy you are, I know you are waiting for the big Christmas Day. If you are looking for a last minute dessert or gift idea, I got that covered, too.
This M&M white chocolate bark has Christmas written all over it. Look at all those Christmas colors - white, red and green. Making this is so much fun. You don't need any cooking expertise to make this bark. Even your kids can help you with decorating the bark with those cute M&Ms.
Yesterday I was thinking about a last minute Christmas idea for the blog, and this colorful M&M white chocolate bark popped up in the mind. Everyone in the family were involved in making this bark, and it was truly an amazing experience for all. Above all, this proved to be the simplest Christmas treat ever. I can't really describe how good and chocolatey these barks are! Simply awesome!
For the base of this Christmas bark, I opted for white chocolate which clearly depicts the white, snowy world of Christmas. When it comes to melting the chocolate, stick to the instructions on packet for better results. Microwaving (like I did) is the the quickest and easiest method. However, if you have time, try double boiling to melt chocolate.
M&Ms add the right amount of color to the white base. I chose red and green, but if you prefer, you can add other colors too. Place them down one by one in any pattern you like. Apart from M&Ms, one thing I really want you to add to this bark is peppermint or candy canes. Simply crush them using a rolling pin, and sprinkle it over the bark. How easy is that!
Let everyone in the family get involved, and it's going to be a fun day. Honestly, I had way too much fun making this Christmas bark. Make it for yourself, or wrap in foil for a cute, edible Christmas present.
